FY21 Annual Report

Dr. Lanikque Howard, the new OCS director, saw the vital role OCS-funded programs play in helping to address persistent poverty and pervasive disparities and inequities. To achieve her vision of thriving communities where everyone has the opportunity and support needed to achieve their full potential, she began a framework with four overarching goals aligned with OCS’ mission. Those goals were to: 1)Administer High-Quality Programs that Reach those Most in Need; 2) Lift Up Voices from the Field; 3) Leverage Resources within OCS and Across Key Programs; and 4) Amplify Connections to Administration Priorities. These priorities underscore her focus on strengthening OCS services and amplifying the impact of the work. To learn more about each goal, visit the Highlights by Priority tab.
